My daughter and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the local college. Beautiful old building. Hush puppies with cheese sauce were incredible. Good menu selections. GREAT PRICES. She had the Cajun pasta. Great sauce a but skimpy on the seafood. Roll was fantastic! I had the seafood sampler. Superbly cooked fish and shrimp !!! Cajun potatoes were a but bland but the fries were good. Super service. We will certainly be back.

While a little off the road, the trek here was absolutely worth the effort. The building not much to look at outside or in, the surrounding area is beautiful and tranquil. Great spot for some digital (photo) moments. What makes this place special is the excellent food and the friendly waitstaff. Prices reasonable. Portions very generous.

We have driven by the catfish house many times on our way to other places and it was always closed. In fact I thought it was permanently closed. Well today was the day we were going to try again, and it was open...hurray!! I ordered the catfish plate. 2 catfish, coleslaw (was delicious), hush puppies and fries. The meal was very good. The catfish takes a little time as they are not fillets. All and all was a good place and enjoyed the food. The are open Thursday thru Saturday...11am to 8pm if you decide to go.

Charlie's is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. They have a good wait staff who are friendly and attentive. A favorite for locals

If you want great Southern Fried Catfish or The best marinated steak around, take a drive to the country for the best place around for miles.The service is top notch, menu has something for everyone, kids too.I have NEVER been remotely dissapointed in anyway. The atmosphere is great, just what you would expect for good Southern folks to enjoy family and friends with great food and service.
