Located in the heart of downtown Amite, The Boston Restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes in a restored historic building which was once the home of the original "Boston Restaurant" in the 1800s. A local hotspot, our seafood, steak, and sushi is
All around awesome resturant/bar with a great atmosphere. Everything we got was delicious. Oysters, fried green beans, and the crawfish and pepper jack cheese dip appetizers were great. We had the CJ Roll and the Boston Roll and both were great (preferred the CJ roll). We had the Black Angus Ribeye (one of the best Iâve ever had), the steak stir fry, and The Who dat Cajun pasta. Everything was great and generous portions. Service was great and managers were very polite as well. When dropping off our sushi, one piece fell onto the tray. The manager immediately brought it to the back and had them make an entire new roll, even though we insisted it was ok. Talk about great customer service! Parking is easy and close. Wish we would have saved room for dessert, as the Happy Ending looked out of this world. Itâs our new go to spot!

My husband and I went to Mikes for dinner last night. He ordered the large fried fish plate and I ordered the seafood platter (no oysters, extra fish),we both ordered a stuffed baked potato, sweet tea and a trip to the salad bar. Our server was prompt and always had a smile on her face. We never wanted for anything. Mikes was packed, especially on a Friday night. It didn't take long for our food. It came out steaming hot and just awesome! The food is the best and the servers here work to make your visit memorable. You will definitely come back for the food and wonderful hospitality.
Great home made, hand made juicy burgers, with crispy fries.Definitely worth the wait. Cold, salty great tasting oysters, and good and cold beer of all kinds. Love the classic rock on the juke box, and the atmosphere is laid back, and hometown friendly. Cant wait to go back there next time im in Amite, Louisiana, definitely worth the drive.

Murphy's is a family style restaurant with a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. I don't know about the buffets but I will before we leave the area. The shrimp and fish Po'Boys are delicious and you'll have a tough time finishing one, they're huge.
