This place is so peaceful and the perfect spot for a picnic. You are right next to the water with an amazing view of the scottish hills. It also has toilet facilities which is a bonus. You can also walk along the shore and its a good flat walk.

Situated just beyond Aberfoyle this is a lovely loch to drive along and then drive back or stop at either end in the Forestry Commission carparks and explore on foot.

Callander Kirk

Callendar is a lovely area to explore. Nice shops and lovely views. The church is beautiful and in the centre of the town. There is also a nice walk along the river Teith by the car park. When we visited the river had burst its banks so please be careful.
