Agerskov Kro and Hotel is centrally located in the heart of South Jutland. Take exit 69 on the E45 motorway and then drive 17 km along the main road towards Tønder to the town of Agerskov. From here it is only ½ hourâs drive to Haderslev, Ribe, Tønder and
in Agerskov Kro you got a nice room if you want to stay overnight, there is plenty of room and nicely clean. You are in the heart of Jutland, so you can without driving far see a lot of the southern parts in Jutland! They got excellent food, and nice service! I can highly recommend to stay in old Inns, such as this!

An excellent restaurant, beautifully appointed, just a couple of miles away from the historic town of Christianfeld. The hotel/restaurant is 350 years old but has been sympathetically and elegantly renovated, with the best of quality - even the bathrooms reflect this! The food was outstanding - excellent local ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented. Service was superb and the house wine, a Sancerre, delicious and good value. This is an outstanding restaurant and the hotel rooms look gorgeous and comfortable.

The sommelier seems to think that every white wine should taste like Gruner Veltliner!! It totally spoilt my wine menu as even a Spanish white wine and an Alsace Riesling tasted like Veltliner which is about the only flavour of white wine I detest! So I ended up with only water in my glass (costing 450 kr.!!)

This historical and traditional inn ("kro") from 1604 is definitely worth a visit - very good food, not "budget" prices, but not extremely expensive either. Recommended!
