Restaurant Europea has become an essential spot on Montreal scene, a gastronomic "rendez-vous" rich in colour and flavour. Flattered by all the gourmet critics, you will share an outstanding experience offered by the creative and modern cuisine of Chef Jerome ferrer and his 22 chefs team. (named chef of the year, restaurant of the year, "maitre cuisinier de France" An unforgetable moment in a charming Victorian mansion in the heart of downtown Montreal ...When the cuisine becomes an art!
We went as a family, 2 adults and 2 kids for the Hommage à Paul Bocuse 69.50$ tasting menu, kids eat free. The menu for adults felt stale. I thought the tasting menu would be inspired by Bocuse, not the actual identical recipes. Everything was rich french fare, very classic, nothing reinvented. I mean, the quenelle was just that, the fricassé as well. We did not feel surprised, felt like the meal was geared to a MUCH older crowd, almost geriatric in its choices (very soft food, no change of textures) and sadly lacking in vegetables. Kids meals were ok, same exact mushroom risotto as last year, with a different soup. Even the desserts were almost identical and were more quantity than quality. I get the cotton candy is a wow factor visually, but it tastes the same as the regular pink cotton candy we buy in fairs. Why not do something unexpected with this? Have fun and experiment? All in all, we were sad to see how outdated the restaurant and the food have become. We wont be going back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Bouillon Bilk. The before dinner drinks were great, first course was spectacular, and the scallops were perfect. We also had the truffle linguini which was rich and hearty. We would definitely return when in Montreal. We really liked the design of the restaurant as well with the bar area in the middle of the space.

Tuck Shop provides a casual and comfortable atmosphere for dining. Our waitress was excellent and was engaging and enthusiastic. The food is professional in ingredients and presentation with so many pieces to each very tasty puzzle. Portions are very good and cost is not over the top. Tuck shop is very enjoyable.

Arrived at Le Filet last evening expecting a delicious meal knowing this spot was related to one of our favorites, Club Chasse et Pêche - was not disappointed! Service by each member of the team attending to our area was charming, helpful and prompt. Menu choices, although not numerous, were varied and appealing, so difficult to make a choice. The three of us enjoyed ours immensley. The only criticism we had was the noise level and constant thumping of electronic music, which is a downer when you want to have a conversation over dinner but have to shout over voices and drumming sounds. We got over it but wished it was a bit calmer. We’ll definitely be back to try other menu items - surprised ourselves with their onion rings - so unexpected, but yummy!

Fan of chocolate? what about strawberries? marshmallows? this is THE place to go to. I went with friends and there's plates to share or you can take your own thing and do half-half with others. There's so many options to choose from and the staff is always there to answer your question or recommend something to eat. Buckle up : youre about to drink a lot of water (Or milk!) and get saturated with chocolate.
