We ate here twice while staying at the resort next door and both times it was excellent. The staff were super friendly and the setting, looking over the pool to the beach, is particularly beautiful at sunset. The drinks list was pretty good and quite good value by Australian standards. And the food was consistently excellent.
This is a great place to try Fijian kokoda (like ceviche) as it is done really well. The lamb curry was excellent as were the Fijian Island Catch (mixed seafood and local veg) and the Spanish mackerel. There were also a couple of good veg options.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying on the island whether you're at Lomani resort (where the restaurant is) or not. If you are staying at Plantation Island, right next door, you can even charge your meal to your room because the two resorts have the same owners.

By dining here you have great chances of seeing the most spectacular sunsets in your lifetime. The food was also delicious and cooked well. I had Indian fish curry and my friend had catch of the day. For dessert we shared pineapple tarte tatin. Everything was very good and we will not hesitate to order the same dishes again. Highly recommended

Outside beachside dining with good food. We enjoyed our meal here and would recommend to anyone staying at plantation island resort as a alternative to the buffet restaurant.

Part of Planation island resort, lovely setting out side, nearby small playground to keep children entertained during dinner. The fans above the tables are excellent, made the meals more enjoyable to be cool while eating. Great cocktail menu. Menu can be limiting if you don't like seafood.
Service can be slow but you are on holiday, probably not OK when you have hungry children.

The menu varied each evening with themes for the meals. It was always clean and well prepared. I am not a fan of queuing for food and in a buffet you have to. Can't fault it, suited the kids really well and appeared to accommodate dietary needs well also. Was impressed they will cook fish you catch, to your order.
