We couldn’t have picked a better place to order sandwiches for our picnic lunch on Flowerpot Island. With fresh ingredients, all the sandwich/sub toppings you could want, and even homemade baked goods for dessert, the Ferndale Drive In had it all. They even have a wide selection of ice cream flavors. Despite their name, they do offer indoor Seating. This would be a great place to bring children to eat.

Creative attempts to "spice up" bar food if only in name.
Restaurant very busy, order food before beverages to reduce wait time.
Our server, Kevin, was great.
Prime rib should be the name for essentially what is beef dip.
Watch for the fish freshness.
Generally good food, great dessert.

Website given is part of Explore the Bruce please do not publish as 'their site' as it is not, this is merely for verification that it exists. This establishment has been open for three months. Lion's Head does have a fair choice of B&B's but not a great selection of fabulous food. Please add to listing I would like to add a review. Home Made EVERYTHING. Phone for them is 519-793-3982 . Trip advisor visitors would appreciate. Thanks, Carolyn
We were on our way home from Tobermory and wanted to stop somewhere for brunch. Read the reviews on this place and thought we will try it out.
We ordered grilled chicken Sandwich and grilled ham and cheese Sandwich. They both come with soup. My husband chose the beef veg and I chose the curry lentil. We both like our soup and I think my Sandwich was yummy. Then I saw the baked goods. I got a pecan tart for myself and my husband got himself some peanut butter and chocolate chips cookies. The tart was tasty and I love it because there's no raisin in it. My husband didn't like the chocolate chip cookies because, according to him, they used milk chocolate chips and not semi chocolate. But on the upside, he likes the peanut butter cookie.

We had a late lunch here at Marydale’s on Wed, Aug 9. The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived around 1:30PM. We sat at one of the 4-seater tables near the cash register, and after a quick perusal of the menu, gave our order to the server.
We ordered Mushroom Mozza burger + soup ($9.95), Patty Melt burger + fries and coleslaw ($9.95) and Chicken Fingers (from kids menu) + soup and coffee. Wait time was reasonable. Coffee and glasses of cold water were brought to the table within 4 minutes. Our lunch arrived about 10 minutes later. The food was good but it was the homemade soup (cream of potato served with crackers) we really liked. It was very tasty.
This place has a casual diner ambience. Tables were comfortably spaced apart. Radio music was a low volume that allowed easy conversation. There was only one server working the tables and she checked on us once while we were eating. She and the owner alternated in working the cash register. We noticed that customers here walked to the cash register to pay for their meals so of course we did the same. Marydale’s accepts credit, debit and cash. There are 2 unisex washrooms at the back, one of which has a baby changing table.

Charming country bakery set on a 25 acre farm. Specializing in local, seasonal, and organic artisan baking. Fresh fruit pies, pasties and other savoury iternationaly flavoured items. Desserts such as awesome butter tarts, brownies, sticky-toffee pudding and much more. Baking on the Bruce since 1996!
We had been to this bakery on a previous trip to Tobermory several years ago and were happy to find them open this past weekend (May 5/17). The choices all looked so tempting and it was hard to decide, but we settled on a brownie,...MoreThanks so much for stopping in and taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate your business and strive to make every visit a special one. See you soon, hopefully?
