Nice interior courtyard restaurant and shop. Food was good, had a nice roasted vegetable Sandwich on bread made at the premises. Dessert (chocolate cake) was excellent. Service was slow and our waitress kept forgetting to bring items we had ordered. The shop was interesting but lacked a better selection of South African items. Prices were reasonable. I would return only if I have lots of time.

We only wanted a cup of coffee and they were just closing up but they stayed open for us which was much appreciated. Big thumbs up!

We stayed at the Malva Huisie across the road and decided on ordering a take away to have with our wine whilst enjoying the sun setting over the hills. My wife wanted a pizza and I Karoo lamb - so we settled for the lamb pizza! It did not disappoint! Made in a fire burning oven with lots of toppings. Proper pizza. In the morning we had our breakfast there and again for the price I was expecting small portions calculated by an actuary to maximize profit, but no it was a properly sized meal and again real value for money!

Craft Brewery and Tavern Restaurant with Aviation Decor. Turning dreams into reality, after traveling Europe in search for the best tasting beer and brewing equipment we loved the beer served in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We researched the process and found that the equipment and process came from a company in Austria. After setting up meetings and traveling to Austria we found the designer brewers in Graz Austria and were impressed in there clean factory. After doing a actual demo brew with them and tasting some of their local brews we placed our order for the comprehensive fully automated 5HL brewing equipment and Shipped it to Harties!
Wife and I had old years lunch 31 December 2017. This is at the place near Harties. Clean, new, friendly, excellent service and fantastic food. We had Lamb Curry and it was the best ever. Cheesecake for desert is a must. I will revisit with my entire family.

Obviously Aviators themed restaurant, mostly outdoor Seating and large barn-like indoor bar/dining area. Extensively decorated with aviation murals. However, the acoustics are pretty poor, hard walls, floor, ceiling, makes for a very loud atmosphere only tamed by full occupancy. Seating pretty hard and will limit the time you'll stay seated. Great effort and will add to the usual weekend out-eating venues. Live music on Weekends too.
Wish the owners all the success their efforts and money deserves. Next time will try the beers on offer too. Bonus for those that do, plenty smoking areas.
