You will get good service if you are a foreigner. The food is of average quality ,you will get Punjabi & South Indian food (Idli,Dosa,Uttapa, etc), as you have very less options around Badami village.

This is veg/non veg restaurant. Very local looking when you enter, but in the back is a garden setting. Very grubby looking place, but the very poor lighting offsets that. There is an English menu with a lot of choices. Servers are a bunch of teenage boys who sit around and ignore customers until summoned. I ordered a chicken dish, what I got did not seem to be what I ordered but it was tasty. No ill after effects, so the place is OK. Inexpensive.
If you want cleaner, more comfortable, attentinve service and tasty food, there is a good veg restaurant just in front of the Hotel Rajsangam which is just 20 m to the N of the Golden Caves.(unfortunately it is not on TA)

56-cover Clarks Inn's signature restaurant brand 'The Bridge' catering as a multi-cuisine restaurant with widespread buffet and a-la-carte options to choose from. 'Illusion' is well-stocked bar, offering wide range of Cocktails and Mocktails.Restaurant serves all cuisines especially South Indian, Indian, Continental, Chinese, Snakcs etc
After a long trip through Aihole, Pattadakal and Badami, followed by a shocking treatment in the name of chicken Sandwich in our KSTDC hotel, I loved the food at the Bridge Restaurant. Had read about the good food and slow service here, so went at 7 pm for dinner. But I was served soup at 7:20 pm, and before 8 pm, I was done with dinner. I liked the quality of food, which was quite tasty, wholesome and probably the best in the area. I had all my meals while in the city, at this restaurant. I think they have worked on the service, and I found one of the quickest and most prompt service. I got perfectly honest recommendations and suggestions about their menu, when I asked about which cuisine to try. Loved their continental fare. They also made me sandwiches for my return journey by train, which I picked up on my way to the station. Thank you for your grand service. May be I will stay at the hotel after seeing your fine service, the next time I am in Badami.

This a pleasant restaurant about 600 m north of the bus station, on east side, set back from street. Airy, clean looking place, lots of veg and non veg choices. Service was friendly and prompt, though they were not busy. Asked the waiter for best chicken dish and (of course) he recommended the chicken curry. Tasty, nothing special, reasonably priced. I would suggest this restaurant to the western tourist who's tired of veg food.
