but the food was very good--since burgers seem to be their specialty three of us had burgers and there were no complaints. I sampled the Louisiana Purchase and it was a tad overdone fr/ the MR ordered but the flavor was very good and an interesting combination that worked. Onion rings (sub for fries) were standard issue frozen fr/ {insert restaurant supply chain here}. TCM has been battling some stomach issues so wanted something simple and not spicy so went w/ chicken tenders. She proclaimed them good but, again, standard issue {insert restaurant supply chain here} but they apparently add their spice mixture so that livened them somewhat. The rest of the menu looked interesting and definitely seems worth exploring. Service was good if a bit brusque--granted we were much more interested in "catching up" w/ our friends than paying attention to the poor waiter so he had to check back w/ us several times for various orders. Incredible beer list and an interesting drink menu. Also a lot of liquor choices offered. The only real issues were w/ the cleanliness of the place as it seems a bit "tired"; the menus could use new covers or at least a good vinegar wash; the table rocked despite our best efforts to repair it and when we looked at the floor to do so did not really want to venture there. Restrooms were "clean" just not "clean" if you get my drift. And not the restaurants fault but a party had several children who spent most of their meal running around the restaurant and yelling at each other. Actually looking forward to returning and trying other menu items as this is not terribly far and reasonably priced. Thanks for taking the time to share our experience with us! We appreciate the feedback and share all comments among management --- we're a small business so it matters to us. We are glad you're looking forward to returning to try some other food items. Burgers are a hit at Summits but we have many other great options -- wings, our deli sandwiches (Reuben, Pastrami) are killer --- we have a lot to offer! See you soon at the Summit!

Go here every Wednesday evening for last two plus years for trivia, not for food and drink. Beer selection is paltry, and they are often out of their featured brands. Wings tiny and often overcooked. Burgers are the best bet, but only if you want medium well to well done. Staff always friendly, but kitchen staff often unorganized and unprepared for busy times, seen food prep times range from Twenty minutes to an hour and a half during trivia tournaments. It's always busy, and management must be satisfied with that, because I see no rush to improve service, menu, or food prep. Shame!!

After two abysmal meals, I expected strike 3. This was stunning. Our server, Katherine was considerate, personable, professional, prompt, patient, made sure we were content, perfect. My wife and I are actors and most of our family and 95% of our friends have worked as servers. The food was hot and properly cooked. We even summoned Oliver, the owner to express our pleasure. Finally, a great reason to return.
Good fried catfish. Didn't care for seafood mashed potatoes. Check for their daily special because each day something is free!Supposed to have good gumbo and good fried BBQ ribs but we didn't try either one of those.Service was excellent.

We did not have time for a sit down meal in a restaurant, therefore, we decided to call our order in. They were fast and courteous. The food was still very warm when we arrived home.
