Tried to stop by tonight Monday, 10/10/16, it was closed with a sign that said closed Monday's. Tripadvisor said they were open. Going across the street to another tavern.I'm not a local just in town for the night for business looking to watch the MOnday night football game.

We made our annual trip to the area to purchase plants from Gingerich Greenhouse in LaValle so stopped for lunch at The Touchdown Tavern in downtown Reedsburg. My wife had the French dip sandwich and I had their special Buffalo burger w/their special sauce and fries. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and the drink prices reasonable. We will definitely add the Touchdown Tavern to our go to place for food and drink in the Reedsburg area.

First visit started slowly - no salad bar during the weekdays, although the "special" of the evening was still posted on the board and offered by our waitstaff, it was not "available" as two of our table requested the flat bread special - strike two...next she tried to order the "Tost A Do's" - "oops, sorry - we're out of those too"...strike three...or yeah it's a golf course - "fore". I tried the ribs - they were perfect, fall of the bone, and delicious. Choice of potato, I selected the fries after asking the wait staff if they were "coated" or regular cut fries...she claimed they were regular cut, but you guessed it - they were coated, so they weren't my favorite. After everyone found something that they could actually order and was available, everyone enjoyed their food. Yep, the beer keg ran out too...Seems they need a little more prep and attention to detail but guessing that will come with time. Good news was we enjoyed the views of the golf course from our table, the food was very good and despite some presentation shortcoming our service was also very attentive and good. We'll definitely give it another try.
Where to eat Bar food in Reedsburg: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Here is why it gets the rating it does. I was able to get a burger, fries, and a beer for $7. Some places you barley could get the beer for that. This gets a four our of five mainly because of the value. The food was tasty even though it was cheep. The food came out hot and was way better than the price would have suggested. The bar itself is a little dark. There is only bar seating so not really a place to bring younger children for food. Overall I was shocked at the value and quality I got for that value.
We took our little cousins bolling at Brewsters and they had a great time. The alley is divey like any bowling alley, but we made it for Moonlight Bowling, wasn't too crowded. A little pricey. Food was okay.
