On a nice May afternoon we stopped at the Kekoskee Cooper Shop Saloon for lunch. This is a real cute place located overlooking the Rock River. We had a group of around 20 motorcyclists that had pre-arranged this stop. Most of us chose to dine on the deck overlooking the river, which had a very nice view. Our server was very cordial and attentive, considering the size of our group. Our drink orders were taken promptly and we were provided with the menus and a list of specials. I ordered a wrap and my date ordered a taco salad. We were both disappointed with our choices, as they were marginal at best. This is a cute place for lunch, but maybe a burger may have been a better choice.
We have eaten here twice. Both times the food and service were good. They make the food right at the end of the bar so you can watch if you would like. The homemade pizzas look incredible. That will be our next pick. Stop in. You won't be disappointed.

Ginger's Hideaway is a family friendly place that offers you great food at great prices. The bubbly staff always makes you feel welcomed and accommodates your every need. The rustic theme that we have will go great for any event you wish to host.
Traveling through Horicon in mid-July, we spotted this bar/restaurant while stopped an intersection.....we decided to take and look and parked around the corner....we were "wowed" by the size and niceness of the place, with separate dining area if desired....we elected to sit at the bar. My wife had a Reuben, which she said was excellent, and I had a "Build-A-Burger", which was also top-notch....I also added the "Onion Tanglers" which were terrific.

Comfortable bar & grill just a little east the main downtown area. The food was great, the service excellent. Outside dining available overlooking the Rock River.
We stopped for lunch; we could have been outside, but we chose to sit inside. 'has a view of the river; quite a few tables. Inexpensive menu.
My wife and I stopped in here thinking it had been a while since we had been to an Irish bar and grill. Unfortunately, there were no Irish items on the menu and there is no Irish theme to the bar either. That said, my burger (I believe it was the island burger, which has thousand island dressing on it) was quite tasty. My wife had a BLT and said it was very delicious. Our bartender/waitress was very attentive. If you're looking for good bar food, you can't go wrong here.
