Typical pub fare, they do some items better than others. Caesar salad as an appie came with chicken, a little over dressed, but decent portion size. Squid appie came as small limp pieces. Chicken burger was large (and fried), the Parmesan and rosemary fries were a huge miss; Fries covered in salad dressing and Parmesan cheese is not what we thought it would be. Fish and chips, again, a decent portion size. Friendly service and a well stocked bar. Lots of cozy seating, strong wifi and clean washrooms.

My husband and I arrived Just before midday. No brunch only lunch! So we decided on toasties. I asked for Granary bread(only brown)with Brie,Cranberry sauce & crispy bacon! Husband had cheese &bacon. It came with coleslaw&thin fries(Great value@£5.90!) Weâd coffees. Mine came bacon was RAW NO Brie-as itâs âonly cooked in breadcrumbsâ???! So had to get cheddar. French fries needed another few minutes! I told the Lovely wee girl that the bacon was Raw&un-eatable and she offered to take it off the bill but it was hardly worth it. Seems a Great pity as we Often come here on route to Donegal! Does the Brie mean itâs Bought In ready made? Or does it mean itâs frozen then defrosted? I Donât know! But to be honest it Has put me offWhich is a Great Pity...!!

Myself and my wife and twins (aged 18 months) called for lunch Saturday about 4.30. The twins usually make strange with strangers but not in this case. Ordered 2 lunches and a baby lunch for the twins to share.Waiter couldn't do enough providing high chairs and ensuring kids were properly strapped in. Baby lunch was served first which gave us peace to feed twins thus giving us time to enjoy our meal. Choose chicken and stuffing and honestly it was cooked and presented beautifully , didn't get dessert as we were stuffed. Kids had left a bit of a mess but nothing was a problem for the staff. There was light music playing which twins really enjoyed as they were up grooving at one point. When bill arrived we were informed that kids eat free from kiddies menu at the weekend which was a nice surprise. Smiling Staff waved us off (glad to see the back of us Mabey) and to be honest I can't wait to return, top class
This place was a really nice find. Lovely decor inside and friendly staff. The food was great and the drinks menu was good too.Slightly on the expensive side but Iâd happily go back and pay the £60 if I was in the are again.
