We had a wonderful lunch at this tucked away gourmet burger restaurant in the hills above la orotava. It is certainly worth the trip as the selection is varied and unusual. Apart from the plain burger with wedges for my youngest, we had the oishii burger, which blended the succulent patty with American cheese, pickles and a mango ketchup and the other was a Thai inspired burger with wasabi cream cheese and vegetable tempura. All were served with crispy wedges and with drinks for all the bill only came to 22 euros.

In need of a cupof tea and a biscuit we popped into Bar Parada. Lovely friendly welcome from La Senora. Nicest almond biscuits on the island! Los servicios are out of the cafe round the side acccessable by key (keeps out passersby). Presented with a pen and calendar card which was lovely....

Gran terraza, sillas cómodas, bien ubicado y buen precio de las copas. La única pega es que se pasan un poco con el precio de la cerveza y, además, no tienen el detalle de ponerte algo de picar junto con la cerveza, sino que lo tienes que pedir tú (aunque, menos mal que es gratuito).
