Solidly good steak and delicious cheesecake. Friendly and fast service in both English and French. The burger was very good. If we we locals we would be here often!

I was staying at the hostel in which the pub is located, so I decided to check it out. The cook was on vacation, so I couldn't really sample the food. Which is a bummer, as they almost exclusively use ingredients and produce from Charlevoix.The outside terrace offers great views on the river, and it's the perfect place to while away an hour or two. They have a good selection of Charlevoix beers on tap, and they also offer a number of others from various microbreweries. Even better, you can get a sampler of 5 glasses for only 11$.They have shows, improv, and other activities several nights a week. And even though the pub is situated inside the hostel, it attracts a lot of young people from La Malbaie itself. So every night is more or less a mix of locals and travelers.There is a casual and low-key atmosphere at La Chope, which makes it a good place to come sit down and savor a pint after a long day of hiking in the nearby national parks.

Nous sommes venus par hasard dans ce restaurant et n'avons pas été déçus.Nous avons tous pris des plats différents et avons unanimement aimé les mets servis. Pour ma part j'y ai mangé la meilleure poutine (à la joue de boeuf) de notre voyage au Québec. Le personnel est très chaleureux et a le souci de servir au mieux les clients. Le plat de ma fille est arrivé quelques minutes après les nôtres car le cuisinier estimait avoir raté la cuisson et a préféré recommencer plutôt que de le servir. Un grand bravo et merci !

E' un ristorante dove si può consumare un pasto veloce, ma anche una capiente sala biliardo.Personale disponibile e servizio veloce, se non si hanno molte pretese e si vuole assaggiare i menù locali è il posto ideale, senza spendere troppo.La zuppa del giorno era ottima come pure il piatto di Poutine ricco ed abbondante.
