Went to the Highlands because everyone in the Atlanta area was talking about it.We came across the Ugly Dog Pub and it look interesting so we tried it out.The was good you won't be disappointed. They had our OHIO STATE Buckeyes on the TV too so everyone was happy.

We were told by several locals that this was the place of smoked meat. We ordered the pork & briskets tacos. We got served quickly - but found there was no spicy red sauce. All their sauces are mild & sweet. The pork was OK, the brisket better. Luckily they do have several craft brews on tap. My wife thought it'd really good as take out - doctored with our favorite spicy sauce. As delivered to the table it was just barely OK.

We wanted to try this place and it was worth the drive from Cashiers. We were a group of four so we didn't have a problem but larger groups may. No food available but we just wanted to try beer anyway. I LOVED my choice which of course i cant remember the exact name but it was some nutty, cinnamon beer and it was a welcome change. It would be great if they has some board games or something to do since there is no food. I'd definitely go back.

My husband and I went to Midpoint fie the first time last night and were very impressed. We both had the roasted beet salad which was exceptional and Poulet Ala Cognac and it was Devine! So tender and tasty and the sauce was heavenly! We canât wait to go back and try many more of the selections. Kristina is a wonderful hostess and gracious new owner.Thank you for your kind review! Great new place on Main Street in Highlands, NC. Weâve eaten there three times since they opened in early July, lunch and dinner. Even sat outside with our dog once. Really enjoyed the food and the staff took good care of us. The owner even stopped by to check on our table each visit.
