It was a beautiful day so we sat outside at one of the two outdoor picnic tables. Our waitress was prompt, bringing our waters and taking our orders and in wiping off the table.I ordered the fish basket and my wife the shrimp basket. Both came with a decent amount of fries and a small cup of cole slaw. While there were plenty of fish and shrimp, the breading on the fish and the batter on the shrimp were so thick, that is all that we could taste. It was nearly impossible to taste either the fish or the shrimp. The meals were filling, the prices fair for what you got, and the service good. Just wish the breading and batter were thinner.
It's a virtual beer drinkers paradise. Old style, nicotine stained walls with absolutely no frills. I hear the walls were white at one time but they appear brown now. You wont find mixed drinks with tiny umbrellas, fine wine or yuppies on wi-fi computers here. But you may find a drinking partner at 9:30 a.m. on any given day. You can count on them to stay open until the 1:59 a.m. closing time, cold beer, and your clothes and hair to smell like cigarettes the morning after. It's unbelievable how much money residents in this area waste on cigarettes, when that money could be spent on the Wishing Stones good cold beer! Toaster oven style food snacks available for the munchies. This can be a fun place at times. Located right on the bike trail, but not a place for health conscious non-smoking (trail) bikers in those funny tights and bike helmets. Don't kiss the Stone!

Pine Street Pub is conveniently located in downtown Inverness, Florida. We offer 15 craft draft beers as well as domestic and assorted craft beer bottles. We also offer a selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Lunch and dinner are served daily opening
We stopped by to relax unwind while visiting the area. Our Motel recommended and it was in the older section of Inverness. Very nice well kept up area. We only went for a few dark beers. Huge selection of beer. Other tables near us doing the same but had food too and most of the items coming out of the kitchen smelled and looked good. Service was spot on and bartender made us feel welcome and like we were regulars! We sat at the bar and it was quiet and good experience. The only thing we wished was the beers were a bit cheaper. $6+ for each. If we were in the area we would stop by again as they were great!

Had the Italian pressed sandwich. Was so salty, I could not eat it. I tried but could only get down about a quarter of it. I told the waitress but she didnât offer to do anything about it. We have been to Coaches many times and I know from others telling me that Coaches is not good about correcting any problem for a customer. I have only had one other problem at Coaches in the past. They did not do anything to correct that problem either. Most of our experiences have been good ones, but after this one, we donât plan on going back.
Really weird experience here. Walked in and the owner/bartender was in a heated debate about global warming with a patron. Took a while but we finally got his attention so we could order a drink. Beer was okay and the atmosphere was, let's say, "unwelcoming". The bartender was more interested in entertaining his buddies hanging out than dealing with us.
