Itâs great to see new places open in Helen, Georgia and was excited to try Blauer Wolf Brewery featuring Alaskan seafood. It did not disappoint.I lived in Alaska for 20 years so it was great trying out the menu. Alaskan Halibut and Cod was great, cooked perfectly and the clam chowder was excellent.Alpine Helen exterior and rustic Alaskan inside. Staff was great, attentive and friendly! Now if the bar can get Alaskan Amber Iâll feel like Iâm back in Alaska.Upstairs deck will make a great addition to our town. Brewery is still being set up so Iâm excited to try their craft beers soon!Prices were normal for Helen and everyone should give this a try! Great addition to Helen!

A casual atmosphere doesn't require dressing up or cycle (motor or pedal) gear in this riverside bar/restaurant at Turners Corner (Lumpkin County). Though, admittedly, a convoy of gleaming Harleys turned up as we were lunching. The food is American - classic burgers and BBQ sandwiches, but if you want a panfried trout or a non-minced steak, they are on the menu too. Service is friendly and frelaxed, food is speedily cooked to order, and the ambience on the screened deck overlooking the Chestatee River is great.Only negagtive I can think if is that not all the beers on the list were actucally available when we were there.

I was rather disappointed by the food (greasy) and the service here. The only redeeming quality was that they served beer (not in a cold glass). Apparently they don't support veterans or the local community either, otherwise I'd be inclined to give them a second chance at improving their review. As it stands, it's not worth the money even if it is a local business (which I always endeavor to support.)
OMG the best biscuits. I want to eat one everyday but I limit myself to 3 or 4 a week. Country ham is my fav but they have a great selection. My husband prefers the bacon and cheese.
