This town square is named for Nobel laureate Derek Walcott, a native of the island.

Well kept green space in the city center. Named after one of two Nobel laureates born in St Lucia. Adjacent to the square is the historic Library building one of few old buildings which survived the devastating fire in 1948 that destroyed much of Castries.
