Stopping overnight in Rocky Mount, NC while travelling on I-95, we were not disappointed that the choice we made after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. From the Garlic Knots, the warm Italian Bread, the pasta fagiole, garden salads with their awesome balsamic house dressing,, to the $10 Pasta Dinners, everything was outstanding. They had many options to choose from, but we stayed basing choosing one with a recommended meat sauce, while I chose the marinara sauce loaded with large slices of mushrooms. Our hostess turned waitress was personable, knowledgeable, and ever present for all our needs. Kerstin is fairly new in town, so hopefully she stays, we really enjoyed our time with her. Prices including a special were very reasonable, incl. our drinks.

Ordered a medium pizza to be delivered to our hotel. The employee who took my order didn't know where the hotel was even though it was only a few store fronts away. I gave her the address and was told it would arrive in 35 minutes. She did not ask for my room number so, after 25 minutes I went to the lobby to wait. After 55 min I called and was put on hold for close to 4 min and I hung up. I called again and refused to be put on hold. When I inquired about the pizza she said that they had already come and called me...but they didn't take my number. She wasn't sure what number they called but the hotel employee said that no one had called. I requested that a new pizza be made and delivered. She said that she would tell her manager and then hung up on me. We waited another 20 min and no pizza.

I used to visit here years ago and the food used to be really good. I guess things change with time. I was travelling there and it was late so I dropped in after hours of being on the road....hungry. I ordered the spaghetti thinking it should be fast since everything is already done (unlike a pizza that has to be made and then still has to cook). Anyway, bad idea. My spaghetti was beyond ridiculous. The sauce was lukewarm but the noodles were ice cold. I mean straight out of the fridge cold. I asked the server for a manager and roughly 15 mins later one comes over to the table smelling of thick smoke. I was like, you finished your smoke break while there was a customer inside with a complaint. Sad. Not the place I used to know.

I guess being that they always running specials where you can get a large for $10 this will be your first choice for pizza, no think again.I will not spend money here any more because those pizzas taste cold and old sometimes. None for me!!
