Nostranaâliterally 'ours' âinvokes local. Simple food from honest ingredients. Pure. Regional. Italian. Opened in 2005, Nostrana is Chef/Owner Cathy Whims' love letter to Italy. This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and pur
We were looking for a good Italian restaurant on our recent visit. Our Uber driver suggested we try Nostranoâs instead of our original destination. So glad we listened to him. We sat at the chefâs table and had a fabulous meal. Our waitress was efficient but most importantly the food and wines were fabulous. The ambience is superb and they even have a great patio for outdoor dining. We really love bed the pizza and pasta we chose.

Pamper your palate with delicious Pacific Northwest cuisine at Lakeside Bar & Grill, located on site at the Radisson in Portland, OR. Our hotel's popular restaurant offers contemporary décor, friendly service and picturesque views of the gorgeous Lake Col
Thai pasta and the fish & chips were good. The BBQ cheeseburger not so - the burger topped with two massive deep-fried onion rings which were then filled with a mediocre BBQ sauce. Location and service were good but I'll continue to look for better food close to PDX.

We live in coastal North Carolina - we are pizza deprived. This was the best US pizza I have had since I visited New York City. The crust was firm, crisp yet had the right chew. The toppings were all just excellent starting with the sauce and cheese. We had left overs and they reheated in the skillet just fine.

Wood-fire Oven + Craft Cocktails in the Pearl.
Oven and Shaker is our "go to" place for Happy Hour. Select pizzas are 50% off and select cocktails are $8. We go for the margarita pizza and the Nostrana salad--both are taste sensations. When available, sit at the window and watch the foot traffic. Unknown to many, the bar has a huge printed drink menu filled with historical and contemporary recipes.
