Reviews on Pizza food in Porthleven, Helston, England. Porthleven (/ˌpɔːrθˈlɛvən/) is a town, civil parish and fishing port near Helston in Cornwall. It is the most southerly port on the island of Great Britain, and was originally developed as a harbour of refuge, when this part of the Cornish coastline was recognised as a black spot for wrecks in days of sail. Nearby Loe Bar was particularly infamous, with swimmers and surfers being warned off the area. Porthleven has many large areas of social and council housing. An electoral ward called Porthleven and Helston South also exists. The population at the 2011 census was 3,059.

We are a lovely little local deli in the heart of porthleven. We were formerly known as No 12 but we have recently taken over the deli and decided to change the name back to what its always been known as.You can pop in for a lunch or just a coffee and may
I'm not reviewing pubs etc that I visited on a week's hols to Porthleven (too many), but this place was great and should be reviewed. It's a pizza restaurant that cares about its product - I guess that it has to as it's also a deli and also sells boutique gins and craft beers. It's small and cosy - only two tables, so try and book. The service is friendly and welcoming, the selection of local beers, ciders and gins are well-chosen, but the pizzas are 10/10.I had a seasonal pizza of fresh crab and spring onion (delicious), my wife had a Meditteranean style pizza with tuna, capers, olives anchovies etc and the kids had standard pizzas. The texture is perfect, the whiff of wood smoke and slight char is perfect, the ingredients are delicious (even the cheese!), but best of all for me was that amazing crunchy and tasty crust. Best pizza in a long while - I thought that the delicate crab would be lost on a pizza, but the balance was perfect. A couple of weeks later and I'm still thinking of it - gourmet Pizza from a restaurant who care and take pride!!I am so pleased by this review it makes all the effort and care that we all put into everything worthwhile, we are a very intimate deli which is nice because then customers and staff alike can have a really nice chat .Again thanks

The freshest ingredients sourced from the best local suppliers. A relaxed, waterside atmosphere where you can sit back and relax. Service that's memorable for all the right reasons. At Amelies, Porthleven and sister company Gourmet Picnics we share the sa
We popped into Amelieâs on the off chance, arriving just as it opened for lunch. With the choice of any table, we were able to sit in the semi-open conservatory overlooking the harbour, having a really enjoyable informal meal as the restaurant busily started to fill. Our only criticism was of constant attempts at up-selling .... were we sure we didnât want a âwhile you waitâ if we werenât having a starter, âstill or sparking?â when we asked for water (tap, was the option we wanted), and âwould you like the monkfish added to the curry?â Apart from that, whilst not necessarily the most memorable meal weâve ever had, weâd have no hesitation to return.

We are an independent family run restaurant, specialising in pizza, pasta and seafood. All freshly cooked to order.
Have been here for lunch several times and always delighted to find a choice of items on the menu for vegetarians. The food is lovely, hot and well presented. I love looking at all the fascinating, old, black and white photographs on the wall. Waitress was lovely too. Can't wait to go again.

Well, nothing wrong with the pizza, service is good, however I don't get the pricing here. You pay a different price at lunchtime to evening and there are so many voucher offers that it is mind boggling. I ended up with one of the buy one get one free for 25 pounds offer. When has a pizza cost 25 pounds? Please get the management to sort these ridiculous made up offers out. I could go into a pizza restaurant and eat for less. Very expensive for family pizza night but as a lunch more affordable.
