Went as a family of 5. Kids loved their spag bol and the Pizzas were one of the best in Nendaz- fresh and flavourful. The risotto was a bit over cheesey! Shame as it was good size for the price(Swiss prices mind you!).Would definitely go back. Even if the menu is not that original- typical alpine fare.However, the lunch menu represents fabulous value for money and I and seriously tempted to give it a whirl.Hello and thank you very much for your comment. Sorry, but not like this. The service in the restaurant was simply catastrophic. The service-lady was not just very unfriendly and ignorant to us, but also we had to repeat everything we ordered several times. Definitely this lady is not an qualified service-staff. The boss just stood around, did not say hello when we entered the restaurant nor did he ever ask us if everything was ok, if we feel well or gave us the feeling to be welcomed. The food was ok, but nothing special. We all (5 people) have eaten much better in other restaurants in Haute-Nendaz before.We really can not recommend this restaurant and we will not come again for a long, long time!February 2017

I really liked this restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food sounds basic - burgers, pizzas, local delicacies plus cooking your own meat on a hot stone (which included zebra, bull and kangaroo) - but actually it's really tasty and above average for that type of food. The portions are generous and nicely presented.

Visited with my two boys, we ordered a burger and chips which the burger was undercooked and the bun seemed stale. We also ordered two pizzas, first arrived 15 minutes after the burger and the second five minutes later, both were slightly burnt on the edges and underneath, also there was near to no base in the middle, overall very disappointing and unlikely to visit again.

I've been going to the Mont Calme for many years with varying opinions of it, however it is now under new ownership and is now as good as it ever was. The staff were very friendly and efficient and my pizza was excellent. I will definitely be returning
