It is approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 4 metres (13 ft) above sea level. Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. Del Tanos and O Mirissa are the same. Their food was quite good - weâre vegetarians and so ordered a pizza, a pasta and their ravioli. The ravioli wasnât cooked through fully and so the filling was still a bit cold. Rest of the food was very good. For dessert, we had their warm gooey brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream - definitely the star!

My Italian friend and I were craving some good Italian food. And they gave us flat fanta, the waitor then complained about how we being fussy. The curry pasta or whatever tasted crap aswell.Thank you for the great comment. it's a pleasure to serve you with our best.come again...sorry for inconvenience.

Me and my partner had bacon cheese burgers and they were delicious, really juicy meat patties. Good for happy hour cocktails they make them pretty strong, like a lot of places along the beach the cocktails can take a bit of time to come though but seems standard across all of the beach front bars. Arriving at the hotel was good, welcome drinks, thereâs a pool at the front and itâs right across from the beach perfect location! There was no water in our room and the phone wouldnât work. Itâs all stairs so there are no lifts for bags etc. food was average, when paying for water I was told different prices two times. Bathroom tended to flood after using the shower. Bed was comfortable but overall the hotel and itâs service would be considered to be very average.
