Reviews on Pizza food in Mannheim, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Baden-Wurttemberg’s second-largest city after Stuttgart, Mannheim lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers and is rare among German cities for its layout, a grid pattern (or “quadrates”) similar to those found in North America. The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace. Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. The city’s iconic water tower and its beautiful Luisenpark are must-sees.

This place looked very promising, less formal and more fun than a more conservative Italian place a few doors down. The staff was very attentive initially, quickly taking drink orders and delivering a menu (in German only). Thanks to some photos on TripAdvisor, I was able to ask a few food questions which help decide what to order.A wonderful salad came quickly, but then it slowly the visit begin to fall apart. As the restaurant slowly cleared of customer so too did the staff, they disappeared! it took nearly 40 minutes for a pasta come out and only when I asked the staff about it. They forgot to fire the order?! They never came back to check on if everything was OK with the food or offer a second drink order. They were too busy polishing glasses behind the bar and cleaning silverware. Granted it was 21:30 and towards the end the night but this is inexcusable! What could've been five stars is now three.Lieber MattEs freut uns, dass Ihnen unser Unternehmen gefällt und sie zufrieden waren mit unseren Gerichten. Not the best italian Food you can get in Mannheim, but good food at a very reasonable price. Go for Pizza (huge) or the special offers.

Rosso Vivo is a small italian family business. We make our pizzas using only the most exclusive italian ingredients. If you are longing for an italian neapolin atmosphere and ambiance, this is a good place to experience the italy in Mannheim, Germany! Enj

We found this small restaurant through TripAdvisor and it was a nice surprise. The chef and the helping staff were very friendly. The food was ok, the pizza and salad as well. The menu is huge (the choice for pasta and pizza is endless). Altough we were 20 people the chef managed to serve the first food in 15 minutes. The only downside was that the salad came after the pizza and pasta.Hi!1000 grazie for visiting us. It´s been a pleasure to have you as our guests. We hope to see you soon!Antonio

I went there with a couple of friends. Most of them had pizza and I tried the rump steak with risotto and vegetables. Everything was prepared very nicely and tasted excellent. The pizza was quite big for the prize and very Italian (thin crust, Italian tomato sauce and thin topping). My rump steak was delicious. All in all I was glad we chose this place and had a great Italian experience.Highly recommended!!
