Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner. Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.

The best Italian restaurant in Sydney. Delicious handmade ravioli, generous and tasty portions of pasta. Pizza is like the one you eat in Naples, if not better. The chef is an Artist. Excelent service and friendly and helpful staff, if you could give more stars I would give it, go to Pizza Boccone and you'll come back for sure. Thank you!

Set on the Manly Wharf where the ferry docks this restaurant is in a splendid position and many seats and tables have excellent views to Sydney Harbour and the beach next to the wharf. Staff were pleasant though food arrived slowly suggesting the kitchen was struggling. Still my oysters were utterly splendid while the crispy skin barramundi was perhaps overcooked. The sweet potato and ginger mash had no taste of anything except sweet potato and the brown sauce did nothing for the fish. Other courses chosen by my husband were certainly generous and I gather the battered fish of the fish and chips was excellent. The starter of meat balls in a tomato sauce was like a main meal so starter prices were barely less than those for mains. And the martini was ridiculously expensive. $190+ for two courses, two glasses of wine and two cocktails is steep in anyoneâs money for this food.

I stayed in the area and got pizza and a salad to go a couple of times. Both were delicious. Portions were bigger than expected. I would recommend.
