I went to visit family in Kelheim and was taken out by my folks for a half English-German lunch. The decor at Il Porcino is a little rustic, which is to be expected in rural Bavaria. But you are not here for the decor, but for the food. If you are not a local, the place is a little bit out of the way, but well worth coming to just for the food. In the summer you may need to book I table I was told by my mother.The pizza is amazing and thin crusted. Lots of different flavours. One of the best I had in this part of Bavaria. We also had starters and dessert, which were great. The staff is very friendly, even when it is busy and we managed fine in German as well as in English.Thank you!Thank you so much

Beruflich in Kelheim gelandet. Den Arbeitsalltag hinter mich lassend, lief ich an der Donau entlang und entdeckte in der Nähe zur Altstadt die Eisdiele. Einfach richtig lecker. Schön cremig und voller Geschmack. Es gab Pistazie(ich musste an Bronte, das Pistazienmekka auf Sizilien denken) und Mozart. Letzterem vermute ich Schoko mit Marzipan. Habe nicht gefragt. Sah lecker aus und war es einfach auch. Probiert es mal aus.

Keldorado ist nicht, wie der Name befürchten lässt, eine seelenlose Anlage für den SpaÃbürger. Es besteht aus einer Innenanlage, in die wir bei dem Gewitter fliehen mussten, und einer groÃzügigen AuÃenanlage, die man sportlich benutzen kann - 50 m Becken - oder auch nur zum SpaÃ, diverse sonstige Becken. Alles ist äuÃerst gepflegt, das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Gastronomie ist italienisch geführt, hat aber sogar Fassbier. Die Preise sind moderat. Ganztag zu 5 Euro! Ein gutes Erlebnis.

Devo dire che Mario e' simpatico e capace, molto meno le persone che ha attorno, comunque le due insalate buone con presente sul tavolo i condimenti che piacciono agli italiani, abbastanza buona anche la bistecca con funghi di mia moglie, solo troppa panna.Stracotto e reso una suola il mio rumpstek e anche le patatine non erano un gran che, non giustificabile in alcun modo l'attesa di una ora per una insalata e l'assoluta mancanza di pane o altri surrogati (grissini), sicuramente non il miglior modo di offrire una cucina italiana all'estero, della serie diamogli quello che abbiamo tanto mangiano di tutto, la buona ristorazione e' un'altra cosa, pero' ripeto il titolare e' simpatico e ci saprebbe anche fare
