This restaurant location has been through many reincarnations. In fact, in the late 1940s, my parents dined together here on their first date when the Angelina Inn, as it was then known, hosted dance bands.The current owner has opened, brightened, modernized, and lovingly created a warm and inviting environment. The varied local farm to table offerings are among the best in Northern Californina in my opinion (and that includes the SFO Bay area where I reside). The lamb dishes are fresh and creative. My husband stated several times throughout dinner that he was eating the best lamb burger he'd ever tasted. One person in our party ordered the rib eye steak which was "cooked to perfection". Our salad choices (Caesar and arugula) were amazing; we ordered the smaller portions which were huge. The savory pizzas are thin crusted as in Italy and a meal themselves. The house-made desserts all looked incredibly inviting.The wine list included many local wines. Our Chardonnay choice was crisp and buttery and as good as any from Napa, Sonoma, or other parts of California Wine Country.One final note on the staff: The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Chef Justin spent a lengthy time chatting with us at our table. He is passionate about his work and exudes culinary creativity. He delighted the two year old in our party by bringing him (locally made) ice cream and rounding out the evening by giving him a personal tour of the rams' enclosure in the next door pasture.'can't wait for our next visit to the amazing Angelina Woodfired Kitchen!

We had low expectations as we ordered a large pizza to share. Staff were pleasant and service good.Wow, we couldnât believe the size of the delicious looking pizza! It exceeded all expectations, huge, fresh, loaded with fresh veggies and tasting amazing. There was enough left for lunch the next day too!!

I hate ordering pizza from any place I've never ordered from before because I've been disappointed time and time again. This place was recommended so we gave it a try. We ordered the "Death by Pizza". It was incredible! Loaded with tons of ingredients, you'll need both hands to navigate a piece! Is it the best I've ever had? No but it's top 5 and I've had a lot of pizza in my time! Well done Westside!

Reasonably priced pizza on a very good thin pastry crust. Wife & I enjoy the medium 1/2 chicken garlic; 1/2 veggie supreme since both of these feature the creamy white pizza sauce! The medium is enough for two to get full on with a couple of slices each for a snack the next day!Crust is always cooked to perfection and there is a goodly amount of toppings. The veggies are always extremely fresh tasting and the mozzarella sweet and chewy!We vacation a lot in Fortuna and first night coming into town we always order Tom's "to go." They do have delivery, but since it's just down the street from where we stay I go fetch it.We have never eaten in the restaurant, but it is a very large room with games and three large TVs, ususally set to ESPN. Would be great for large family gatherings or parties! Long rows of picnic style tables. Beers available in bottle or on tap. Video games, arcade games, and stuff for kids.
