On a motorcycle ride and stopped for the night in Delano, CA. I asked at my hotel where I could get a good dinner. The clerk suggested Magoo's Pizza about a block away. I walked over to a strip mall and found the place. Ordered at the counter (Meat pizza with garlic sauce instead of red sauce) and waited in the bar. The Giants game was on the TV, a bonus. The pizza took a little long even considering they were busy. It was more than worth the wait! It was piping hot and delicious.They are a handful of pizza places in Delano (three other independents and the usual chains) and I would not hesitate to say Magoo's has them all beat! Give them a try, I beat you will be glad.As I am writing this, I want to drive 4+ hours just to have another pie! Oh well, time to start planning the next road trip.

The hot and ready's are rarely ready. Service is slow. There's no room to wait, and its hot as hell inside. The pizza is more expensive than the advertised TV commercial prices. it seems to be hit or miss, sometimes the pizza is old and warm, and sometimes its actually pretty good, hot and fresh. if you need to feed the fam on the cheap, its good, sometimes.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Express and asked if they would deliver. Absolutely. She told me about specials and value propositions. Ordered and she said from 30 to 40 minutes. It arrived hot and nice in 27 minutes. Nicely done, had everything we wanted. Thanks!

Ordered a so-called "Special" chicken with a couple toppings, $15.00 delivered, $2.99 delivery fee. Came 40 minutes later, promised in 16 minutes. SMALL by any standard, half cooked crust and any flavor was by mistake. Tried Tonys the next day and it was great. There's a message here some where...Go to Tonys instead, get value for your money.

Very close to our hotel - the Hyatt Place. I would recommend for a quick convenient meal of delicious pizza's - lovely crispy base.They also serve wine and beer.
