We arrived a half hour before closing on a Friday night. They made us feel like valued patrons right away. My husband had eggplant Parmesan and I had Stuffed Eggplant. Both were good. I preferred his because it had a bit more sauce. My entree was a little dry. This is a decent place where they try hard.

Busy place..popular with Tustin locals it seems....homemade bread rolls..ok...garlic cheese bread...good but way too heavy...eggplant pamigiana, spinach lasagna both pretty bad...spinach ravioli was standard...basically nothing exceptional..nothing unique..nothing that would make me go back...

Service was slow and inattentive. Dirty dishes from our appetizer remained on the table until our main courses were served. Our meals were not brought to the table together. Mine sat getting cold while I waited for the remaining 3 meals to be served. The food: - Grilled Artichoke â 3 small halves covered with a lot of tasty toppings- Roasted Salmon â ok - Bolognese â Good. If you want a little extra cheese on top it is served in a bowl â is it freshly grated? - Budino, Bombolini â Both were good. Bombolini were very fresh.

Everything here brings back the "Authentic Taste of Italy". The Pizza, Pasta, Meatballs and Garlic Knots are too good to describe,as Carmina makes them with Love!!! Nothing is pre-made or frozen and are worth the wait. Yes, Orange County Minions," Real Pepperoni" is quarter sized and not silver dollar sized!! Look it up!!! Pepperoni is not made from Chicken or Turkey lips and pieces!!Ray adds to the ambiance and helps make the stay entertaining! Ray will warn you,Do not ruin the taste of their greatly authentic food with "Ranch", as you may get yelled at by the "East Coast Crowd". Italians do not acknowledge Ranch as a dressing!! It's Blasphemous. You may find yourself craving Ciao on Mondays, but remember, Ray and Carmina need a day of rest!!!

We had not visited in awhile so we decided to dine prior to a performance at the South Coast Repertory. We were pleasantly surprised they now have a full bar in place. Our server Tianna D. provided excellent service throughout our meal. She asked right away if we were attending a performance this evening so they could coordinate our meal as to allow sufficient time. We ordered a cocktail from their unique cocktail list and enjoyed appetizers to start our meal. We shared a Salame Pizza (delicious crust) as our entree which was more than enough for two. We shall return.
