I love pizza! And so does my family! My family originally came from Naples, Italy, the place pizza was invented, so I like to think I'm a natural connoisseur of pizza. Whether you believe that line or not you can trust me on this; K&S makes a great pizza!Just today my family and I were out and about, we had no idea what we were going to have for dinner. One of us suggested trying this little family owned pizza restaurant that so many folks have told us is so good... And it is! The very moment we walked into the place there was nothing but good vibes, friendly engaging staff, an open kitchen where people were actually preparing fresh vegetables and herbs in front of us and a clean, albeit small, dinning area. At first taste we could actually note the freshness of garlic and basil. If you have ever cooked at home with fresh basil from the garden and freshly chopped garlic you know what I am referring to.The place actually has an extensive menu for such a small locally owned restaurant. And we are already talking of going back tomorrow for fish and chips and some chowder.On another note, from what I have read about K&S, they are working with local seafood suppliers and farmers for many of the ingredients to their menu items. As well as growing some of their own herbs and produce right there on the premises. Personally, this would be enough for me to patronize them even if the food was merely average... The great thing is it's outstanding!

There are only two pizza places places in town, Kingston Pizza and Charlestown Famous Pizza. Kingston Pizza in our opinion is far better but it's not the best. The crust is extremely thin and it's clear that they are not very generous with cheese or any other toppings. There are far better Pizza places in the surrounding area like the Mews only disadvantage is it's a 25 min ride. But for this review I can only give a 2 stars out of 5 for quality or portion or value!

Fine pizza in a local spot. It's not at all fancy, but the pizza is good and theGreek salad was loaded with feta cheese. Staff was very accommodating with requests. I'd return again. My only complaint is that the mushrooms were canned--I'm a dried mushroom fan myself.......

We go for their New York system wieners for which they are the only place nearby offering them. The rest of the food is quite average and the setting is bleak.

We moved to the pizza and bagel desert of Rhode Island from the Bronx a year ago. Love living here but miss a good pie. Being native New Yorkers, we are very fussy about our pizza. This is the real deal, trust me!!! It may not be the cheapest pizza in Rhode Island, but can you put a price on perfection? This is the best pizza we have ever had. Their crust is perfect, thin and crispy. By the way eat it there, the box takes away the crisp. Plus the atmosphere has a very cool vibe. They play old vinyl records and you can even bring your own, BUT NO JAM BANDS. Somethings from the 70's or before greatly appreciated. The owners are supper cool people and treat you like family. We have four children and we can't get enough of it. We were so happy to hear that they will be open over the weekends this winter. Jen and Nick thank you for saving us from Pizza Purgatory. Good luck from the PARTY BUS FAMILY.
