We had great food every evening in the restaurants and bars in Montejaque but the food and service at La Casitas was exceptional. We had paella and Iberian pork and both were beautifully cooked. The service was excellent and our âwaiterâ Valentino was fantastic!

Straight forward very pleasant eating experience at very good value. Pizzas around 6 euros and a good size and choice of toppings. House red was fine and only 1.50 for generous glass. Tables outside on a relatively quiet street but lots of customers here and next door created a good athomosphere. Staff very friendly and service good. Would go again

Seeing the good TA reviews, we decided to have dinner here as a pizzeria should always offer some fair choices for vegetarians. The restaurant was almost empty at 8pm. Outside was too cool, so we sat in the restaurant itself. I found the interior not very inviting and totally characterless and bland, the only interesting feature being the wood fired pizza oven. There were loads of pizza variations on offer. We opted for a pugliese which was basically a margarita with the addition of some onions, olives and parmesan. It was quite enjoyable, but they did bring us some chili to spice up this Neapolitan style pizza ( thin base, but thick outer crust). Apart from pizza, there was only a limited choice. We ordered a Tuscan salad to go with the pizza, and that was frankly quite disappointing. Very boring - mostly lettuce with a bit of tomato and a few small chunks of mozzarella finished with a bottled balsamic glaze dressing. I had expected something a bit more inspired from an Italian restaurant.A few wines were available by the glass, and our Ribera del Duero was nice enough for us to have two glasses each. The young waiter looked after us well. Please note that this restaurant publishes its menu prices without VAT, so 10 pc is added to the total bill. Ours came to about EUR34, not that cheap but about average for Ronda.

We had mixed tapas here - seafood and regular, which was average at best. The service was slow and sloppy (wrong drinks brought & waited almost 30 minutes for our tapas to be delivered). To top it all off I then got food poisoning. Avoid.

We were in Ronda for one night and looking for a restaurant for a fussy 6 year old. The Lonely Planet recommended this one so we decided to give it a try. The sign for the restaurant gives the impression of a proper pizza oven but this was in fact gas-fired resulting in a rather anemic pizza. I had a mixed salad which was really ok, and my husband a caprese salad which was also ok. I ordered melon with ham and the size of the portion was quite ridiculous, two pieces of melon the size of my forearm with some low grade ham thrown on the top. The size was the only reason to try and justify the price I guess. Anyway all in all a disappointing meal, however if youâre looking for cheap food then this fits the bill.
