A family dinner with the daughterâs new boyfriend can be a challenge but Carboniâs casual, friendly atmosphere helped...as did the share plates of antipasto and generous bread and the constantly filled wine glass. Service was friendly and non-obtrusive.Hi Justine, I'm sure it would not be easy meeting the daughter's new boyfriend and it's lovely to hear we were able to make your dinner truly enjoyable. The antipasto is definitely the perfect kick off for a great meal at Carbonis :)Grazie, a presto!

Our grandfather Frank was a well-known Blacksmith in the Ballarat region, and at the heart of a Blacksmith's shop is a fire they call the Forge. With a combination of the fire, great skill and plenty of hard work, great things are created. Take a look at
Great pizza but expensive! We stumbled across this place when visiting Ballarat & looking for a place to eat. It has a lovely atmosphere & seemed to be a popular spot for locals. We loved our pizza but were surprised at the cost. We can't afford to eat here regularly but would go back as a special treat.

Ballarat Provedore serves the city of Ballarat and also is perfect for the commuters between Melbourne to Ballarat and beyond. We have focused on our wood fired pizza's and also we have a large choice of other meals. Our other passion are our coffee's whi
We went to The Provedore recently and we were deeply disappointed with the meals and the serviceNo-one in our group was able to finish their meal ( all different choices) as they were of such poor quality - tasteless and inedible. The service was pleasant but almost non- existent as we had to ask for drinks to be served to us - twice. There were a large number of flies INSIDE the restaurant, landing on our food and we were constantly having to swat them whilst we ate. Overall a very disappointing experience and money totally wasted. We won't be back and won't recommend this restaurant

Very nice little cafe with a natural modern interiors. Me and my boyfriend were there for lunch, the service was prompt and quick. The coffee was great as well as the food.We ordered - Spaghetti Marinara; the seafood was cooked to perfection, so fresh but the pasta was the let down. Spaghetti was over cooked, too soft not al dente.- Chicken and pumpkin risotto; this one was really nice. It was creamy, very rich and tasty. - Canoli; i can say it was the best canoli that I have had in Ballarat. Ps. I think the management team should train some of the staff how to serve the food properly. It is quite rude to slide the plate across the table to the customer.

Only opened about 6 months ago: Great caberet feel ambience; great pizza.
Must I admit I've developed some kind of ill-informed perception that this place does not good so it's no good for me! HOW WRONG WAS I! A wonderful atmosphere and superb service and great value food that excites the palate! Highly recommended little establishment and perhaps one of Ballarat's hidden little gems... Worth taking a few mates or even a double date to genuinely take it all in and enjoy a night of pleasant amenity and food with the odd bit of entertainment also appearing! To top off my praises I'd suggest any Risotto lover gets on in for what I'll call Ballarat's best risotto!
