It lies in the northeast of the country covering an area of 29,478 square kilometers and has 2.48 million inhabitants. The capital and largest city is Potsdam. Brandenburg surrounds but does not include the national capital and city-state Berlin forming a metropolitan area.

I don't know where to begin but you have to go here! The grounds are soo big and even in the current situation you have plenty of space. The train rides are amazing and fun for every kid who loves trains. The playground is beautiful and you can easily spend an hour just there. You can even take your swimmers and have a little slpash in the water. There are old trucks and construction vehicles on the ground that the kids can climb on and sit in it. They also have little go carts you can rent for 3 Euro per hour and the kids love riding them around the grounds. Can't recommend it highly enough, this place is amazing.
