We rode this trail while on a one night stop in Cambridge. A few well marked road and driveway crossings along the seven mile route. The trail follows a creek. There is a large wetland area, we noticed a couple of benches and possibly duck blinds facing the wetland. There is a playground where the trail passes through Lore, OH. If biking with kids, this is a good halfway spot to run around and have a snack. I was impressed with the good condition of the trail, ample parking and the ease of finding the trail. The trailhead is minutes off the highway. This would be a great destination when visiting Cambridge or Salt Fork State Park.
Sugartree Marina at Salt Fork Lodge has a fleet of new rental boats, food, marina supplies, fuel and bait.
Perched high atop the rugged terrain of rural southeast Ohio, the scenic lodge golf course at Salt Fork State Park is a destination worth taking the clubs to. With its rolling fairways and expansive greens, the 18-hole championship course will challenge even the most experienced golfer. The par-71 course spans 250 acres of forested hills, open meadows and misty valleys of Guernsey County. Measurin
For many years now we have looked forward to spring approaching and the arrival of package bees. We have always had a fondness and appreciation for nature. Beekeeping as you can see is at the top of our list. In 1995 we opened a very small, emphasis on small, sideline business in an old (dusty) grain bin in Spencer Ohio, hoping to support our own hobby and enjoy the friendships we would make.
