Visited RS with a friend for their buffet lunch. Cannot say it was the best Indian cuisine, but it was tasty enough and the buffet offered a fair variety of dishes; starters, main courses and desserts. We were also served fresh naan bread at no additional cost. Atmosphere was a little lacking as we were the only ones there for much of the time, but the restaurant seemed clean enough and boasts a 5 star hygiene rating. Service was friendly. Surprised there were so few diners availing themselves of the good value lunch deal.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for many years, usually every other week. It's always good food, always good friendly service although sometimes it can be a little slow especially when they are busy. It's always worth the wait though, and last night (10/11/18) was no exception. If you go on a Saturday night - it is worth booking a table. If you don't, you may have to wait a while. There are plenty of bars nearby where you can go for a quick drink while you wait. It's also worth mentioning that when they are busy, they may not allow small children. The restaurant is relatively small, and noisy children can (and have) upset the other customers who are looking for a quite relaxing place to eat.Honourable Guest,Thank you very much for the feedback

Such a great Indian restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine; the food is fresh and flavoursome. We had a platter starter initially which had paneer, onion bhajis and samosas and all were delicious. I had the garlic chicken tikka (this included large portions of meat) and the black beans were brilliant. Really decent portion sizes and not that expensive. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. I don't see why this place isn't busy on a Friday night! Look forward to returning again soon.

When you walk into an Indian restaurant at 8.30 on a Friday and only a couple of tables are occupied, the chances are you are in the wrong restaurant. And so it was. It started badly, as the poppadoms they gave us were stale, and it only got better briefly. My starter of jeera aloo was quite good, and reasonably large. My wife's prawn puree was tasty but there were very few prawns. There was nothing particularly wrong with the mains, but they weren't that tasty or exciting, and despite us ordering a chicken dhansak and a patia they weren't at all spicy. There wasn't a great amount of chicken in the dish, but what there was was a bit dry too. I can't remember what veg we had - it obviously wasn't memorable.Prices are pretty reasonable, service was OK but not great, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. All of which is irrelevant as the food isn't worth making a visit and I wont be going back.Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience whilst dining for us, we would like to take this opportunity to address some of the issues you have brought to our attention. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your starters, yet with regards to portion sizes, we regret that you did not find them sufficient, we can assure you that your portions were in line with our standards that we try to maintain. We are sorry to hear you did not find anything particularly exciting or spicy about your main courses and that they were not to your liking - we cook all dishes, again, to a consistent standard and would usually make amendments on the customers request. If you would choose to dine with us again which we would very much like, we would hope to meet with your expectations and provide a great dining experience. We appreciate your review and take on board your points. Thank you.Eastcote Tandoori
