We came in for breakfast. Very kid friendly with coloring pages and crayons and a kids menu. I got the Lake House breakfast and it was delicious. John the manager took great care of us. I would recommend for sure.

The hike was def not easy if you take the trail to the right when you get to the fork in the trails. Wear hiking boots or good runners as pine needles can be slippery. Beautiful views when you get to the summit..its worth the climb. Round trip took us 2 hours but we made stops along the way to take photos and at the top enjoyed the views...i would not advise for parents with small children to take this route, too steep at times.

Since 1973, Emerald Springs Adirondack Ranch has offered a unique Adirondack experience. Experience a relaxing horse back trail ride on one of our amazingly trained horses. The perfect activity to include in your trip to the Saranac Lake and Lake Placid area. When you plan out your vacation attractions, don't forget to include a relaxing woodland trailride.
