This gallery and studio is award-winning artist Jeff Ripple's primary working and exhibition space. Here you will see his finished oil paintings of the Old Florida landscape, paintings in progress as well as studies and preliminary drawings. You'll also find a wide selection of his breathtaking large format camera landscape photographs in sizes and prices for all budgets. In season, the area in front of the gallery is a gorgeous garden comprised of native Florida plants designed to attract and feed hummingbirds, butterflies, bees and other pollinating insects. You'll see plenty of lizards, birds and if you look closely, caterpillars (butterflies need to come from somewhere) and grasshoppers. You are welcome to photograph the garden when the gallery is open.

Wonderful free museum depicting the world in Micanopy from founding to mid 20th century. Opportunity to touch the tools and implements used by settlers and towns folk during the early years of Micanopy. Also tells the story of how the indians were treated (mistreated) and how Micanopy came before Gainesville. Good for adults and children alike.
