Jūrmala (Latvian pronunciation: [juːrmala] ( listen) "seaside") is a city in Latvia, about 25 kilometres (16 miles) west of Riga. Jūrmala is a resort town stretching 32 km (20 miles) and sandwiched between the Gulf of Riga and the Lielupe River. It has a 33 km (21 miles) stretch of white-sand beach, and a population of 56,646, making it the fifth largest city in Latvia.

and I hope that museum will be open on 15th of February 2020 when we were in Riga again :) Never expect how interesting and ancient is a process of fishing! I wish to the owner to promote their museum by any kind of actions.

This is the only modern art space in Europe that is located in a functioning railway station. The Dubulti Station was built in 1977, and, according to the idea of its architect Igor Javein, it created associations with the rolling sea. In 2015, the station was fully renovated, which also made it possible to create a professionally-managed art gallery here.

This is a corker with some really good exhibits showing how the beach hasn't changed that much even if the political background has over the years.
