Everywhere you go in Languedoc you will see streets and squares named after the orator and socialist politician Jean Jaures. This collection of things about him and his life is well worth visiting. Not much is in English but it is easy enough to work out. Great to see a socialist so honoured.

With our tour group, my wife and I toured the Goya Museum. We saw many fantastic artifacts and paintings, but my wife counted only three paintings by Goya. Thus, if your main desire is to look at Goya paintings, you're likely to be disappointed. On the other hand, if you want to see a fantastic array of art objects, then you'll be pleased with what's here. I thought many of the items (e.g., a helmet in the first room and a painting of a standing man with faces in parts of his clothing) were beyond photogenic. The area surrounding the museum is wonderful, also.
