In Chicago, choices are endless for Middle Eastern food. This restaurant is in my top two places for sit down traditional mixed MidEast grill. Order a mixed tray for the table and enjoy. If you are into whole lamb then try the whole lamb stuffed with rice stuffed grape leaves!. The usual bread, olives, pickles, hummus, etc will accompany your meal. I only wish they served Kenafeh for dessert.
When our party of 6 arrived (Saturday night at 6:30 PM) the restaurant had only 2 other patrons and no one else appeared until we were leaving. The waitresses were friendly but service was very slow. Our expectations were high because of the high reviews by the Chicago Tribune. The mixed grill was touted as the specialty but It was mediocre at best (meat was overcooked). One of our party ordered fish and his dinner was not served until 20 minutes after the rest or our meals. None of the members in our party would ever returnOther negatives: Alcohol not served, tip automatically added regardless of size of party, decor and music is highly ethnic oriented.

This healthy Mediterranean restaurant just celebrated there one year anniversary. It is a small restaurant located near the Palos Heights Post Office. Their hummus is delicious served with large pieces of fresh pita bread. The menu features vegitarian dishes, shish ka bobs, salads and a little fish. Reasonably priced but donât be in a hurry. The owner seems to be the only one working in the kitchen.

Shwarma, kabobs, lamb, non-alcoholic beverages, juices.
It was ok. I was looking for more comfy Palestinian food. The service was slow or at least our server.
