Itâs rare for us to get Moroccan food where we live so we were very keen to try Le Riad. We were not disappointed, as we felt like we were back in Morocco! My Harira soup was just what I needed on a somewhat cool summers day! We then shared a chicken tajine with caramelised pears, and a chicken pastilla and both were excellent. The pastilla had that great mix of sweet and savoury, whilst the tajine was full of flavour with deliciously succulent chicken. The Moroccan wine was also very good, and service was very friendly. We would love to have a restaurant like this near us!

Really fresh food well cooked - we ate dinner here one night. Just off the main drag - very popular with locals. Service is attentive and friendly all in all. A great choice for dinner if you are a fan of Moroccan / Mediterranean food

The restaurant has a strange set up that does not result in a cosy atmosphere. Low level of Moroccan attributes or from any other country.Menu card did not mention white wine but when asked I got a glass served. Rather plain. However, the aubergine starter was quite good with nice spices to improve the taste. The couscous with lamb was really excellent. Be careful with the harissa because it is the real stuff: breath taking. Prices are certainly acceptable. Recommended.

Chosen because it was closer to our hotel and we had done enough walking for the day we were very pleasantly surprised. Greeted at the door by a handshake, shown smilingly to a table, and treated very cordially throughout. Algerian/Moroccan food which was tasty and plentiful, tagines, couscous, a variety of vegetables in gravy, as well as brochettes and roasted chickens. Limited desert menu, mostly ice-creams and sorbets, but very nice, mine included a fig liqueur.
