It doesn't matter what you order - the portions are huge. The plates are very large - almost platter size!. Almost everyone at our table - took home half their meal for the next day. Average mexican food but excellent service! Very busy and popular place

Taqueria Mexicana

Small restaurant in Toppenish that offers average Mexican fare. Came here for dinner with coworkers on a work trip and found it to be decent. There are primarily Mexican restaurants in the area if you want to go out to eat, and so we ended up here. The food was fine, though one member of our party had some trouble getting what she ordered (no dairy). For what it is, it is expensive and I was annoyed they added $1 to the bill just to use a credit/debit card to pay. I would likely not bother coming back since there are so many other options for Mexican food in the area.

Craving mexican food, we stopped at this very unassuming place, only because they were the only ones open at 6pm. It has a very laid back vibe and the staff is very attentive. The decor is rustic. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh. My friend had the bistek and I had the carnitas. The portions were large and the flavors were outstanding! The bistek was cooked medium rare, pink in the middle and very tender. It came with beans, rice, salad and tortillas. The carnitas were so tender, had a bit of a warm bite to it, also served with beans, rice and tortillas. We were pleasantly surprised with the meal we had!
