Visited for a late lunch and loved the Nachos. Thursday all Nachos are 1/2 price and are enough to feed two. We had installed the Clover app and checked in when we arrived and received free chips and salsa. We ended up taking most of those home since the nachos were so big. Love the homemade salsa's.

This restaurant gets a mixed review because I liked it, my wife hated it. I thought the food good, she didn't like it. It is in a quaint setting, converted convenience store. My burrito was good.

Ate here with my mother for lunch. I ordered a tamale and chile relleno lunch plate, my mom ordered tacos and a tamale. Tamales were okay, the rice was very good. The relleno was horrible.. too much weird breading and the pepper itself was tough and overcooked. Beans were soupy and the cheese dip was tasteless. Service was good. Prices are fair plus we did have a coupon. Doubt I will go back though.. there are better Mexican restaurants in the area.

This restaurant has been our go to Mexican restaurant since they've opened. However the last TWO times we've been there the food has been WAY GREASY and tasted like it was old. I usually get the burrito Gonzales with rice. It USUALLY is the best anywhere. We will give El Agave more chances to correct the last two visits, next time we see manager Tavo he will be informed if it's subpar like last two visits ( he wasn't there either time) cause we really love/loved this place.

This place seems to go from great to just ok and I guess it just depends on what shift you get. Food is always hot and fresh and rarely do they mess up the orders but the service is not consistent or I would give a higher rating.
