Matador Restaurants offer fresh Tex-Mex cuisine & premium tequilas in an inviting, social atmosphere â visit us in Seattle, Tacoma, Redmond, Portland, & Boise.
Recently went on a Friday night for happy hour before seeing a concert at the Tacoma Dome. Definitely get there early because they get busy real fast, especially on the weekends. Happy hour menu has good variety of food but no drink specials. I had the blood orange margarita, very tasty and made strong. Nachos, black bean queso, guacamole, street tacos and the jalapeño poppers were amazing!

Been here 3 times for carne asada. 2 times It! Was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Generous portions. The third time the steak was dry and a smaller portion. Maybe they were running out? A good and reliable restaurant.Thank you for your feedback and your continued support. We will relay your feedback to our team about your Carne Asada. Hope to see you Soon!

New to the neighborhood, excited to have a taco place behind my building open till 2am! The roasted pineapple margarita was delicious, as well as the fried poblano (the dipping sauce!)My boyfriend had the buffalo chicken quesadilla, he loved it. I had the sweet potato taco, also good. Wish there was more vegetarian options. Excellent service! I will be back!

The best shrimp ceviche and pork carnitas I have ever had! Fresh tortillas! Hands down best Mexican food in Tacoma and trust me there are lots of other places to go. Directly next to a Pizza Hut, it's easy to pass on by without notice, that's if you don't know any better. Great food and Margaritas for a decent price.

We go out for tacos at least once a week. Recently decided to try Taqueria El Sabor and am so glad we did. Fresh, high quality ingredients, great service, clean and well maintained. And lots of different fresh salsas and toppings to choose from! All the meats are excellent, but the chicken is outstanding! This is our new favorite place.
