Nothing is more relaxing and entertaining than a visit to Spicy Bar and Spicy Cantina to cool down after a sweltering day on the beach. Spicy Bar and Spicy Cantina is located just about halfway on the famous Seaside Boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jerse

it's the best "MEXACAN-FOOD"ever the in the town of seaside heights new jersey
This is an amazing boardwalk find nothing like any of the other joints here. Awesome flavors and they did a great job accommodating a dairy free person I was with. Everyone loved their meals and we got tacos, a burrito, and a bowl. Only complaint is that the guac of the week didn't taste like what they described so we think we were given plain guac. Bummer because the special guac sounded amazing (with jersey grown peaches!!). However, two of us got meals with the rice of the week (pineapple, coconut, cilantro and lime) and it was GOOD! Everything was super fresh and sooo flavorful. Definitely a place to return to! Not to mention the cool atmosphere vibes.
Where to eat Fast Food food in Seaside Park: The Best Restaurants and Bars
We didn't expect to find such good, authentic Mexican food among the endless Italian restaurants and hot dog and cheese steak stands of Seaside Heights. We were looking for La Casa del Sol, which has apparently closed, but we stumbled on this new place, on the same block as Klee's. We ordered take out, but it's a moderate-sized restaurant with a pleasant, funky décor and Mexican variety shows on the TV. The steak enchiladas ($12) came with a salsa verde that was just the right spiciness, and we also ordered the chilaquiles ($12) with chicken, another winner. For you pork-eaters, there are lots of options, including tacos with pork, pineapple, onions, and jalapenos. The entrees came with rice and beans, and while the rice was quite ordinary, these were flavorful whole beans, not the bland paste you often get. They use cotija cheese, the crumbly white cheese, one mark of real Mexican food. You could also order 3 tacos for $8 (soft tacos, of course) or three shrimp tacos for $11, as well as tortas, the Mexican sandwiches I often see in mom and pop places in my native California. Mexican food is slowly improving in NJ, but this place is better than anything we have where we live in northern NJ. Indeed this was the best meal we had in a week in Seaside Heights, and my only regret is that I didn't get a chance to go back a second time.

Return visit with new location much improved. Although Iâve had better tacos and enchiladas elsewhere, I can say these are really freshly and perhaps the lightest served in memory (no regrets later). Guacamole and chips are also a favorite. In retrospect they deserve at least an add â l half star.
