Delicious food lots of different flavors- had, BBQ Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken entrees, Burritos Enchilada Style, Empanadas, Greek Salad, and even a burger- Food is made fresh to order so call ahead. Good portions too!! Grab a bag of plantain chips and their addicting Green Cilantro Salsa. The staff seems caring and concerned about their business. Consistently good- My Favorite Take Out Restaurant!

Average Mexican food. Nothing outstanding. Portions were nice size except for the guacamole which at $6.95 per serving was inadequate. Our friends questioned the size since they had eaten there before. Immediately another portion arrived. I jokingly said it would appear on the bill, and sure enough it did? Language problem or ripoff. You decide.

Nicely decorated, cash only in a great location on Main Street. Despite what Tripadvisor say, it is not a Mexican restaurant. Cuisine is Cuban and Puerto Rican. Our waitress was a bit confused but pleasant. Leaving your silverware on your salad or appetizer plate as it is being cleared will result in it being handed back to you with no place to put it except on the sans cloth table. They claim to be a tequila bar, but donât really push the concept. As far as wine, the offering is no better than the last wedding you attended. What they call Paella has all the ingredients of Paella piled on top of each other, but none of whites have been cooked together, so there is no mingling of flavors

Weâve been waiting for an opportunity to go to Besito. There is one more local, in West Islip, but it is smaller than the one in Huntington. It was worth the drive! We made a reservation, which is recommended. The drive took a little longer than anticipated, so I called, and they happily extended our reservation. We were seated right away. Fresh guacamole was made table-side. Entrees were beyond delicious!! My son is a fan of burritos, and coming here, they say itâs an interpretation of Mexican food. There were no burritos on the menu. He had to think outside the box. Very happy with the beef short ribs! A side of Mexican Street Corn and rice, and he was very happy!! I had the Mahi mahi with crab and blue corn chip crust. Delicious!! We ended with Tres Leches Cake with fresh whipped cream and berries. Delicious!!Que bueno! Thank you for the positive feedback, Tamis! Hope to have you back again soon! We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Besito. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

It took our party of 6 a little while to be seated. The dining room in the rear of the bar is small. *Tip for next time is call ahead seating! There are daily specials and the day we went was 1/2 price wings. Ordered a dozen and they were pretty good. Another good app was the fried avocado. Our party had shrimp quesadilla's which were very good and chicken quesadilla's which were just ok at best. The service can be slow and you have to constantly ask for simple staples like a plates for your app's and a refill on your soda.
