Located in Terminal 1 on Concourse B in Chicago International Airport.
I liked the Tortilla Soup, which tasted quite different from the hundreds of examples I have had in Mexico, but was very good. The calabacita chilaquiles were just OK. The green sauce was a bit overpowering and the totopos were soggy.

After living in Mexico, I'm very critical of Mexican food. This place is the real deal! The tacos were fresh, moist, and good portions. I got a side of chips and guacamole, which comes in a decent size cup. It was fresh and flavorful, and full to the top of the cup.Highly recommended this place above all others nearby. Big dining area to the side. Parking is fine. Prices are average.

Maria's Mexican Restaurant on Foster Ave, just west of River Rd, is only several blocks from Rosemont. The food is simply the best authentic Mexican food served "piping" hot,in the Rosemont area and perhaps any location in the Chicago area. If a dish is selected with cheese, the deliciousness of the cheese will remain as a delectable memory. The friendly and attentive wait staff are a plus. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. The decor is bold, bright and colorful. The walls are filled with vibrant artwork; a great place to dine for art enthusiasts! Cravings for the best authentic Mexican food in the Rosemont area lead me directly to Maria's. Enjoy!

Last thursday couple of my college decided to go for mexican food. And chose this joint. We got there around noon and left around 12:40. No was there before us or while we were there. Cross the street Ramano was buzzing.Seems like they do well over dinner. They had only one person manning the counter, host. And one person cook and clean. Our food did not take long to come, and it was OK. I ordered tamales, which came with bean, salad and rice. Not bad for $8:50. My colleges had steak burritos, which were kingly. Since they finished it, i would assume they were good.Go there for food, but nothing else.
