Nice Mexican atmosphere, good service, good food. Not overpriced as suggested by a previous review. We appreciate the restaurants that still give chips and salsa at no charge. They serve a warm red salsa and very good avocado salsa (I recommend a dip in both per chip). The verde sauce was delicious; the chicken in the enchiladas was good quality if not flavored with spices really. The food is on hot plates and the beer in cold mugs. My husband who is a bit of a chimichanga connoisseur rated his 4/5 which is praise from him. We would stop again on our way through and would choose it for dinner out regularly if we lived closer. Worth driving a little out of the way when driving through from Austin to College Station.

Have been stopping here for about 20 years ( total about 50 times). Breakfast, lunch and supper all good. Excellent quality, service, and value, along with super freshly made salsa.
