I had a fun afternoon with my friends and we had tons of food and margs. They are $5 (bottom shelf tequila but itâs a BIG glass for $5.) I thought the tacos were great (I always get soft tacos, chicken, cheese, tomatoes, onions, guacamole, etc.,) and I thought it was fine! No issues. Good chips and salsa and queso.

There are a lot of well-advertised, nicer looking Mexican restaurants in Brunswick, but none have the food quality of this place. The food is very authentic, freshly-cooked, affordable, and the menu is very extensive. Vegetarian friendly. Itâs one of those kind of hole-in-the-wall places that gets overlooked, but the food is incredible.

This place is so GOOD. All the veggies are nice and fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is nice. I ordered a âphillyâ made with chicken and served with tons on the side (you generally choose between rice or beans, but I got both.)

We actually drive to Savannah for good Mexican Food as we haven't found anything in our area that we overly like...until now. I know now from seeing pictures here and reading his name that the gentleman that welcomed and waited on us was Jorge, the owner. Service was excellent, he was friendly and attentive, talked about the homemade desserts with me etc. We had enchiladas, I had the ground beef and machacha beef, they come with beans and rice, my husband had the chicken enchiladas. We thought the enchiladas, beans and rice were all very good. I thought the salsa was good but I didn't care for the chips because they had no salt on them. I like the lighter saltier chips but overall, we were very happy with our meal and will definitely go back.

Barberitos is a chain that provides similar food to that available at Chipotle or Moe's. It advertises that it uses only products that are fresh. I have been to the location in Brunswick on Scranton Road several times and have usually been at least relatively pleased. I always had a satisfactory to good lunch there. I generally order a chicken or spicy chicken burrito on a whole wheat tortilla with a small amount of rice, black beans, shredded jack cheese, fresh diced jalapenos, onions, and guacamole. Yes, this is a make to order burrito place. Of course, other menu items are available such as quesadillas and salads. But the main thing is the made to order burrito. This chain is okay by me when I am looking for fast Mexican and I prefer it to Chipotle or Moe's. The Brunswick location is fairly representative and the food has been good each time I have gone.
